A Manuscript Critique provides an overall assessment of your work, highlighting strengths and weaknesses. You will receive helpful guidance to improve your writing techniques, especially in regard to character development/consistency, plot, POV, story setting, and more. Think of it as a guide for a DIY Developmental Edit or a detailed roadmap for self-revisions.

After your book is complete, I read your manuscript and give you feedback specifically on plot, characters, sequencing, inconsistencies, and how to maximize your story’s potential. My goal is to enhance and refine your writing.

Dive deeper into your manuscript after a Developmental Edit has been completed. As in the Developmental Edit, I am looking for clarity and flow, but now on a line-by-line basis. I see how each sentence contributes to the greater paragraph, leading to the next, all in a consistent point of view. I also check for proper punctuation and grammar.    

This is a simple manuscript edit focused on fixing only grammatical, punctuation, spelling, and formatting errors. Proofreading should be performed after Developmental and Copyediting have been completed.
